Job Title: Security Administrator Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote) Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 Introduction Are you a hands-on security professional with deep expertise in firewall administration and a passion for protecting enterprise environments? Experience with Checkpoint firewall administration and configuration Experience with KnowBe4 security awareness training Familiarity with Azure security tools (network and application security groups) Networking background, including experience with servers, firewalls, and telecom Bachelor's degree in a related field Excellent documentation and communication skills Proven initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Checkpoint certification CCNA certification Experience working in mid-to-large enterprise environments (1,000+ employees) Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Serve as an escalation point for outsourced SOC alerts and issues Create and modify firewall rules, policies, and security device configurations Support and administer company-wide security awareness programs Monitor security infrastructure performance and availability Conduct trend analysis and report on top security incidents Design and implement secure access solutions, including VPN configurations Perform root cause analysis on security events and work with cross-functional teams to reduce risks Maintain comprehensive and clear documentation on system configurations and security incidents Company Benefits & Culture
