Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Business Analyst - Commercial Operations IT (MDM, Data Lake, Analytics)Location: Onsite 3 Days/Week (Relocation Possible for the Right Candidate)Salary Range: $135,000 + 10% Annual BonusEmployment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire IntroductionThe Planet Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (BA) to join a fast-growing, agile life sciences company supporting IT efforts across Commercial Operations, including MDM, data lake, analytics, and CRM platforms. This highly visible role serves as the primary liaison between business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure commercial platforms meet the evolving needs of the organization. If you're an experienced BA with deep roots in life sciences and commercial data systems, this is an opportunity to directly influence operational excellence and digital transformation. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in life sciences/pharmaceuticals Hands-on experience supporting Commercial Operations IT systems, including: Veeva CRM MDM, Data Lakes, Commercial Data Warehouses Familiarity with Databricks, Informatica, and analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau Working knowledge of Salesforce is a strong plus Ability to gather, document, and translate requirements into actionable technical plans Familiarity with ITGC, SOX, GxP, and other compliance requirements Experience managing full lifecycle projects using Agile and SDLC methodologies Skilled in BPM (Business Process Modeling) and ALM tools for documentation, requirements, and testing Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, IT, and external vendors Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (sponsorship may be considered, but not preferred)Preferred Skills & Qualifications Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis Experience with commercial processes such as sales forecasting, pricing, lead management, and reporting Experience in an 850-1,500 employee-size organization supporting data transformation and CRM modernization Familiarity with life science compliance frameworks and system validation best practicesDay-to-Day Responsibilities Act as the lead Business Analyst for Commercial IT platforms, including MDM, Data Lake, and Veeva CRM Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams to document and translate business requirements Manage end-to-end system enhancements, configurations, testing (UAT), and deployments Collaborate with external vendors to support data integrations, CRM workflows, and analytics solutions Support compliance with SOX, GxP, and industry regulations Use ALM tools to manage documentation, traceability, and test plans Assist with change management, training, and onboarding related to new features or systems Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives and data governance efforts Coordinate and prioritize internal backlogs and new feature rollouts across the businessCompany Benefits & Culture Opportunity to work for a mission-driven, growing life sciences company Entrepreneurial, collaborative culture that values innovation and impact Onsite 3-day hybrid schedule in a supportive, team-based environment Health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and 20+ days PTO Standard background and reference checks required Relocation possible with a sign-on bonus (no relocation package)#LI-CW1 #TECH #Hybrid The staffing industry has seen an increase in people falsely representing themselves as recruiters to gather personal information from job seekers.
