Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required.
• Assemble cable harnesses according to detailed planning documents (DWG and PL) and manufacturing procedures
• Perform tasks such as wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and potting
• Use specialized tools and equipment, such as crimpers, soldering irons, and potting equipment
• Follow strict quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure high-quality products
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to identify and resolve any issues or defects
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in cable harness assembly or a related field • Strong understanding of cable harness assembly processes and procedures • Ability to read and interpret detailed planning documents and manufacturing procedures • Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, such as crimpers and soldering irons • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications: • Previous Space Addendum Training Experience • Experience working with client or similar companies in the aerospace or defense industry • Familiarity with client's quality control procedures and guidelines • Certification in cable harness assembly or a related field • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices
Work Environment: • The work will be performed in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to various chemicals, materials, and equipment • The candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods • The work schedule will be Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime
