Payroll Administrator
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees. PSE Group is a nationwide team of coatings specialists dedicated to providing exceptional products and value-added services to our customer partners. We offer a wide range of coatings solutions to enhance productivity, improve quality, and reduce material costs. Our objective is to support the entire purchasing process from coatings to associated products to complete application systems. We include brands from across the country such as Painters Supply & Equipment Co, Nyquist Paints, FAMIS, Aerocoat Source, ABC Autobody Color, Auto Paint Supply, and others. Responsibilities: Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and garnishments Maintain and update new tax codes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies Assist with year-end payroll tasks such as 1095/ACA filing, W-2 processing, and distribution Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide excellent customer service, including employment verifications Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data Assist with reporting, audits, and special projects Proficiency in the company's HRIS system Manage leave of absences, including FMLA Process employment verification requests Respond to EEOC reporting requirements Process payroll true-up reports
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years payroll processing experience, preferably multi-state CPP designation is a plus Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with payroll software such as Paylocity, ADP, or Paychex Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team
