Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience in IT support required. Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred. Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for clinical and administrative applications. Resolve issues related to network connectivity, printers, servers, and integrated clinical equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and clinical equipment issues for end-users. Support critical systems such as M365, Epic, Meditech, and others. Maintain and troubleshoot IT hardware, including WoWs, badge readers, barcode scanners, and printers. Respond promptly to IT issues in high-priority areas. Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance. Assist with software updates, patches, backups, and user account management. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare IT security standards. Respond to security incidents and monitor logs for irregularities. Develop user guides and technical documentation. Collaborate on system rollouts, upgrades, and hardware relocations. Support IT projects and manage support tickets. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of healthcare IT systems, EHR/EMR platforms, and clinical workflows. Understanding of HIPAA, data privacy, and IT security regulations. Proficiency in Windows OS, networking, and system administration tools. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritize tasks, and support users effectively. Additional Details:
