Location:
Roseville, MN Pay Range:
$28-$32/hr Type:
Temporary (60-90 days), potential for permanent hire Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift (core hours 9am-3pm)
Position Summary
A fast-paced and detail-oriented recruiting role supporting a large manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruitment across plant, office, and sales functions, including high-volume requisition management, offer letter creation, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with union guidelines and thrive in a busy, collaborative HR environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage 15-25 open requisitions at a time Post jobs to internal and external boards using ATS and job platforms Source, screen, and interview candidates (virtual or in-person) Issue accurate offer letters including salary, benefits, and union details Coordinate pre-employment screenings and onboarding Conduct exit interviews and maintain recruiting best practices Build relationships with local colleges and attend career fairs Maintain and train staff on ATS systems Qualifications Associate degree in business, HR, or related field Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience (3-5 years preferred; up to 10 years acceptable within pay range) Experience in manufacturing or union environments strongly preferred Familiarity with Paycom and Indeed platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism Interview Process One interview (virtual or in-person based on candidate preference) In-person interviews include a tour of the office and plant Contract Benefits (via staffing agency) Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance, short-term disability Accident and critical illness indemnity Earned safe & sick time Permanent Hire Benefits (if converted) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Pension plan (fully vested after 5 years) Paid time off, vacation, sick leave, and holidays Perks & Culture Free snacks and product discounts Community-focused and locally driven culture Friendly, team-oriented environment with strong leadership Long employee tenure and internal growth opportunities Sustainability initiatives including recycling and energy efficiency
