Crown Automotive Group is hiring a Deal Booking Clerk for their Multi-Dealership Accounting Department.
This position is responsible for processing new and used car deals for compliance posting, including trade paperwork, dealer trades, wholesale deals, and inventory posting.
Responsibilities:
Edit incoming deal paperwork to ensure compliance with Crown policies, state, and federal guidelines. Post retail deals and other transactions, applying funds to accounts such as gross profit, taxes, tag & title fees, and commissions. Maintain accurate logs of critical retail sale information. Process dealer trade paperwork and wholesale deals. Verify and post payoff checks. Post journal entries and reconcile schedules. Record transactions in accounting records and compile reports as needed. Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area. Write payoff checks for incoming trade units. Order supplies and manage paperwork filing, scanning, and shredding. Communicate professionally with internal teams to resolve errors or issues. Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller and Office Manager. Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred. At least six months of general office experience; automotive experience is a plus. Basic 10-key skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve problems per company policies. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work independently and in a team. Valid OH Driver’s License and eligibility to work in the US. Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Attention to detailed paperwork and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve problems effectively. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Self-motivated and proactive. Ability to handle stressful situations professionally. Flexible and team-oriented.
