Locum Hospitalist - Oncology in Boise, ID

Join our dedicated team at the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center in Boise, Idaho! We are currently seeking a locum Hospitalist specializing in Oncology to provide exceptional care for our inpatient patients. This position offers a structured schedule with a focus on both oncology and hematology patients in a supportive environment. The facility is recognized for its commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice. Job Responsibilities:
* Inpatient rounding, admitting, and consulting for oncology patients * Provide comprehensive care for both oncology and hematology patients * Work closely with outpatient oncologists for support and guidance * Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient records * Attend to patients seven days a week with weekend coverage required * Manage medication administration for patients
Qualifications:
* Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology (REQUIRED) * Active Idaho Medical License (REQUIRED) * Current DEA and CSR registration (REQUIRED) * BLS certification (REQUIRED) * Clean background and malpractice history (REQUIRED) * Local candidates preferred; travel available as needed * COVID vaccination required for facility work
License and Certification Requirements:
* MD diploma and relevant certification from internship/residency/fellowship * All medical licenses and certifications on hand * Driver's license and professional color photo/headshot * Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
