Day Shift | $20+ per hour (depending on experience)
Requirements
3 years of experience + The ability to lift 50 pounds + Steel-toe boots/shoes
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections on finished pipe and tubing products, including OD ( outside diameter), gauge, OAL ( overall length), straightness, hooked-end checks, and visual inspections for surface defects. Verify the accuracy of the mill stencil and confirm calibration of assigned tools as required. Notify Quality and Production Supervisors immediately of any discrepancies found during inspection. Assist in verifying the accuracy of flattening tests performed by the Straightener Operator. Follow all procedures, work instructions, and company policies related to quality assurance and safety. Safely operate manufacturing equipment such as acetylene torches, plasma arc torches, hand grinders, forklifts, and overhead cranes. Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping practices. Adhere to all operational safety requirements, including lock-out/tag-out procedures. Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
