We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Locum Pulmonary Critical Care physician to address an urgent need from August 18 to 19, 7 am to 7 am. This facility boasts a 200-bed capacity, with 12 ICU beds, providing care to an average of 13 ICU patients daily. Experience a collaborative environment with minimal oversight for nurse practitioners, using Cerner for electronic medical records. Job Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive care to critical care patients. * Supervise APP providers with minimal oversight. * Perform in-house responsibilities from 7 am to 7 pm. * Handle off-site calls from 7 pm to 7 am. * Manage ICU patient loads, ensuring excellence in patient care.
Qualifications:
* Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care (Critical Care Medicine BC may be considered if available for the urgent date). * Active Iowa medical license (required for expedited privileges). * Must be available for coverage from August 18, 7 am to August 19, 7 am (no exceptions). * ACLS, DEA, CSR certifications required. * Full COVID vaccination is mandatory at the time of name clearance. * Clean background and malpractice history is essential, with no exceptions.
License and Certification Requirements:
* Active Iowa medical license. * Board Certification in Pulmonary Critical Care. * ACLS, DEA, and CSR certifications. * COVID vaccination documentation required.
