West Coast University Irvine USD 150,000 - 250,000 Summary: Reporting to the Co-President, Business Operations, the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer is responsible for creating and driving strategic growth and transformation initiatives at West Coast University. This role oversees the strategic direction of growth through mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth, requiring a focus on operational efficiency and process discipline, including project management. Minimum & Preferred Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field. Proven experience in mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth. Strong background in process discipline and operational efficiency, including Six Sigma. Project management experience with successful project delivery. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Master's degree in business, management, or a related field. Consulting experience with a reputable firm or in a strategic role. Certification in Six Sigma, PMP, or related credentials. Experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused industry. 15+ years of experience with terminal degrees such as MBA, JD, Ph.D. Success in managing strategic initiatives, especially in higher education. Strong leadership with a proven track record of results. Deep understanding of higher education trends and challenges. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Sound judgment and influencing skills in fast-paced environments. Additional Responsibilities: Experience & skills include: Minimum of ten years in senior administrative roles related to academic and career development, fiscal and operations management. Proficiency with MS Office. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Passion for developing healthcare professionals and supporting colleagues. Financial management and systems thinking skills. Ability to lead diverse communities and communicate effectively, including public speaking and facilitation. Strong project and people management skills with attention to detail and motivation capabilities. Conflict resolution and collaborative decision-making skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
