Law and Motion Attorney
to join its dynamic team. The firm specializes in high-stakes litigation involving
wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations . Key Responsibilities: Draft persuasive motions, oppositions, legal memoranda, and appellate briefs Handle dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and demurrers Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic guidance on complex employment law issues Collaborate with trial teams to develop case strategy, evidentiary approaches, and argument frameworks Review and revise discovery responses for legal sufficiency and strategic value Participate in mediations and assist with settlement strategy through legal positioning Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school and an active member of the California Bar Minimum 6 years of experience focused on law and motion practice Significant experience in California employment law litigation is required Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills Strong understanding of state and federal court procedures Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually, commensurate with experience Performance-based commission Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance $500 annual FSA contribution to help cover eligible out-of-pocket healthcare expenses Industry-leading 401(k) plan: 3% Safe Harbor + 7% Profit Sharing Contribution for eligible employees Ongoing legal workshops to strengthen litigation skills Bar dues paid by the firm MCLE allowance Salary:
