Currently hiring Commercial HVAC Technicians in Raleigh, Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC. The ideal Commercial HVAC Technician has 3+ years experience in a commercial or industrial setting. As a Commercial HVAC Technician you are responsible for all aspects of mechanical service including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Pay is $30- $38 per hour based on skill set and experience. Commercial HVAC Technician Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, service, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, and multi-zone systems. Clean and repair HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency, focusing on systems used in commercial settings. Interpret blueprints and diagrams for accurate diagnostics, repairs, and system modifications. Conduct preventative maintenance and site assessments for commercial properties, implementing necessary modifications to improve system performance and energy efficiency. Utilize hand and power tools safely for installation and repairs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards. Perform physical tasks that may include climbing roofs, lifting heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs), and standing for extended periods in various environments. Identify wiring and cables accurately and prepare sites for installations and repairs in compliance with local codes and regulations. Maintain service vehicles and document all repairs, maintenance, and service activities in an organized and timely manner. Stay updated on commercial HVAC products, industry trends, and technological advancements to provide informed recommendations and technical support to customers. Adapt to varying work environments, including extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and heights while maintaining a safety-first mindset. Collaborate with team members and assist in training junior technicians, sharing expertise and best practices. Complete additional tasks as assigned, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Commercial HVAC Technician Job Qualifications: 3+ years experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance (data center experience a plus) Universal EPA certificate Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
