$120,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from SG2 Recruiting SG2 Recruiting, in partnership with Identity Strategy Partners, is seeking a Special Operations Forces (SOF) Policy Staff Officer (Level 1). About the Role This role supports the Sensitive Activities and Special Programs (SASP) Office under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)), which oversees intelligence, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and security matters across the Department of Defense. As a SOF Policy Staff Officer (Level 1), you will contribute to the oversight, coordination, and policy development for highly sensitive intelligence activities. You’ll play a key role in supporting senior DoD leadership with timely information and policy recommendations related to Special Operations, counterterrorism, and irregular warfare efforts. Responsibilities Provide policy and operational support for sensitive intelligence programs. Assist in the development, coordination, and revision of policy for sensitive activities. Gather, synthesize, and prepare background materials and briefings for DoD senior leaders. Support strategic planning and decision-making processes related to special operations and intelligence policy. Contribute to short-notice taskings and fast-paced decision environments. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for SAP access 1–4 years of experience with SOF and/or clandestine operations 1–4 years of experience developing or advising on policy for sensitive operations Required Skills Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for SAP access. Preferred Skills 1–4 years of experience with SOF and/or clandestine operations.
