Branch General Manager

Job Title: Branch General Manager – Electrical Division

Reports To: Executive Management

Position Overview

The Branch General Manager will oversee and grow our San Diego electrical division, managing all aspects of operations, sales, and business development. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong business acumen, proven sales ability, and the capacity to manage teams, projects, and client relationships. While electrical industry knowledge is preferred, it is not required—what matters most is leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the branch team, ensuring operational excellence and high customer satisfaction.
• Drive sales growth by cultivating relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients, and actively pursuing new business opportunities.
• Oversee estimating, proposals, and contract negotiations to maximize profitability.
• Manage branch P&L, budgets, and forecasting, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
• Implement operational processes, KPIs, and performance tracking to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Coordinate with field operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Represent the branch in networking, industry, and community events to increase visibility and brand awareness.
• Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business management, sales leadership, or a related role.
• Proven track record in revenue growth, business development, and team leadership.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Electrical or construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
