General Manager Position Summary :

The General Manager is the leader of the Front and Back of the House teams and has full business responsibility for a QSR restaurant. S/he represents the brand and business within the community and develops the team, including AGM, Shift Supervisors, and restaurant team members covering BOH and FOH responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drives team performance in BOH and FOH towards excellence in execution and guest service.
  • Creates a positive work environment to promote sales and retain top talent.
  • Manages the financial and operational performance to meet and exceed company goals.
  • Promotes guest service and handles guest recovery regarding restaurant issues/complaints.
  • Sources, interviews, and selects top talent to fulfill current and future needs.
  • Leads by example through performance management, training, coaching, and role modeling.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and legal regulations.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by Area Manager.
  • Obtains a SERV Safe Certification within 90 days of hire.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience in QSR with P&L responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in English communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • Requires standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment includes moderate noise levels typical of a restaurant.
