Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Recruiting Leader, Passionate About Building Biotechs

Our client, a Boston-based biotech company with a strong track record of using data to drive smart development and commercialization decisions—is looking to bring on a Senior Director of Commercial Operations . The company is preparing for launch and needs someone who can build out the systems, reporting tools, and infrastructure to support a high-performing commercial team.

This role is ideal for someone who's comfortable in a growing, fast-moving environment and enjoys being at the center of cross-functional activity. If you've built forecasting models, managed CRM platforms, overseen incentive comp, and worked across Sales, Market Access, and Supply Chain

Responsibilities :

Forecasting & Planning

  • Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams on budget planning and forecasting.
  • Track and report revenue performance on a weekly / monthly basis.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Build dashboards and reporting tools that support field teams and leadership.
  • Deliver insights across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access.
  • Manage ad hoc data requests and ensure reporting consistency.

    • Field Operations

  • Lead CRM design and implementation with input from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Oversee incentive compensation, territory alignment, data management, and field support infrastructure.
  • Act as point person for field team inquiries and system troubleshooting.

    • Trade & Distribution Support

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to align product supply with commercial needs.
  • Support Market Access with GTN calculations, inventory management, chargebacks, and returns.

    • Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT to support commercial data platform development.
  • Step in as needed to support broader commercial leadership goals.

    • Requirements :

  • 10+ years in commercial operations in biotech / pharma.
  • Strong track record with forecasting, field ops, CRM tools, incentive comp, and data analytics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors.
  • Background in rare disease or specialty therapeutics is a plus.
  • Boston-based or willing to work hybrid on-site.
