Our client, a Boston-based biotech company with a strong track record of using data to drive smart development and commercialization decisions—is looking to bring on a
Senior Director of Commercial Operations . The company is preparing for launch and needs someone who can build out the systems, reporting tools, and infrastructure to support a high-performing commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable in a growing, fast-moving environment and enjoys being at the center of cross-functional activity. If you’ve built forecasting models, managed CRM platforms, overseen incentive comp, and worked across Sales, Market Access, and Supply Chain Responsibilities: Forecasting & Planning Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams on budget planning and forecasting. Track and report revenue performance on a weekly/monthly basis. Business Intelligence & Analytics Build dashboards and reporting tools that support field teams and leadership. Deliver insights across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access. Manage ad hoc data requests and ensure reporting consistency. Field Operations Lead CRM design and implementation with input from cross-functional stakeholders. Oversee incentive compensation, territory alignment, data management, and field support infrastructure. Act as point person for field team inquiries and system troubleshooting. Trade & Distribution Support Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to align product supply with commercial needs. Support Market Access with GTN calculations, inventory management, chargebacks, and returns. Other Responsibilities Collaborate with IT to support commercial data platform development. Step in as needed to support broader commercial leadership goals. Requirements: 10+ years in commercial operations in biotech/pharma. Strong track record with forecasting, field ops, CRM tools, incentive comp, and data analytics. Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors. Background in rare disease or specialty therapeutics is a plus. Boston-based or willing to work hybrid on-site.
