You will manage imports, exports, and related information efficiently to maximize business value and ensure compliance. THE ROLE
As the Manager, Trade & Customs (United States), your responsibilities include:
- Managing the seamless execution of cross-border and US import operations
- Strategically developing Aritzia’s trade and customs approach to maintain our competitive advantage
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to import, export, and declaration processes
- Minimizing duty liabilities while optimizing cash flow
- Overseeing daily operations and initiatives within the department
- Collaborating with Business Support partners to support corporate objectives, career development, and employee experience
QUALIFICATIONS
The Manager, Trade & Customs, should have:
- Proven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience in trade and customs, including knowledge of programs like Duty Drawback, First Sale, and Free Trade Agreements
- Expertise in US import/export operations, with the ability to interpret US CBP legislation and regulations
- Active US Customs Broker License
- Knowledge of classification and origin determination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- A commitment to learning and applying Aritzia's values and leadership principles
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- A focus on quality and results that add value to the business
THE COMPENSATION
The typical salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 USD per year, with final salary based on experience and qualifications. We value top talent and are flexible to individual qualifications, with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits included.
