Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer – Robotics Focus
We are seeking a Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer with a strong foundation in Python, a passion for robotics, and an eagerness to engage with the developer community. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between our engineering team and external developers, helping to test and document APIs, provide technical support, and contribute to building a vibrant ecosystem around our robotics platform.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical advocate for our robotics tools and APIs
- Perform QA testing and provide feedback to the engineering team
- Create tutorials, sample projects, and technical content to support developers
- Engage with the developer community via forums, events, and support channels
- Gather and relay user feedback to inform product development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python
- Basic understanding of robotics concepts and willingness to deepen expertise
- Strong communication skills and comfort explaining technical concepts
- Experience in QA testing or technical troubleshooting
- Must be based in the Bay Area or San Francisco
- Available to work onsite in our SF office at least 3 times per week
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ROS, hardware platforms, or simulation environments
- Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, or open-source contribution
- Content creation (blogs, videos, tutorials) or community management experience
