Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer – Robotics Focus

We are seeking a Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer with a strong foundation in Python, a passion for robotics, and an eagerness to engage with the developer community. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between our engineering team and external developers, helping to test and document APIs, provide technical support, and contribute to building a vibrant ecosystem around our robotics platform.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical advocate for our robotics tools and APIs
• Perform QA testing and provide feedback to the engineering team
• Create tutorials, sample projects, and technical content to support developers
• Engage with the developer community via forums, events, and support channels
• Gather and relay user feedback to inform product development
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python
• Basic understanding of robotics concepts and willingness to deepen expertise
• Strong communication skills and comfort explaining technical concepts
• Experience in QA testing or technical troubleshooting
• Must be based in the Bay Area or San Francisco
• Available to work onsite in our SF office at least 3 times per week

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ROS, hardware platforms, or simulation environments
• Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, or open-source contribution
• Content creation (blogs, videos, tutorials) or community management experience
