BOS Staffing has partnered with a well-established accounting firm in the Athens area to find an organized and tech-savvy Administrative Assistant to join our client's team. Our client is one of the leading full-service accounting firms in Georgia, with offices in both Athens and Atlanta. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a friendly, highly organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. In this front-desk role, you'll blend receptionist responsibilities with key administrative and tax support tasks-playing an important part in both client-facing and back-office operations, especially during the busy tax season.

    If You Have:
  • Previous administrative or office experience (experience in a CPA or tax firm a plus).
  • Basic understanding of accounting or tax-related concepts (preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Experience with document scanning and digital file management.
  • Familiarity with tax or accounting software (such as Practice, UltraTax, SurePrep, or QuickBooks) is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
    You Will Be:
  • Greeting clients in person, providing hospitality, and managing client pick-ups, signatures, and conference room routing.
  • Answering and directing incoming calls; handling mail and deliveries.
  • Organizing and maintaining a tidy reception area and conference room.
  • Scanning, uploading, and digitally filing client documents-including intake, notices, and workpapers.
  • Assisting with new client set-ups and disengagements.
  • Performing data entry in various tax and practice management systems.
  • Generating time management and other reports; updating client records as needed.
  • Supporting tax season processes: copying, scanning, file management, document routing, and processing as requested.
  • Managing office supplies, snacks, beverages, and handling errands as needed.
  • Acting as the Office Birthday Ambassador-organizing celebrations and thank you cards.
