Overview
1st Shift opening: 6am - 2pm $37.41/hour
The CNC Repair associate is required to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components on CNC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ensures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and control issues.
- Checks, analyzes, reconnects, and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, belt-driven or gear drive machines.
- Disconnects motors, solenoids and performs minor electrical repairs on de-energized circuits and equipment.
- Rebuilds gear boxes and electrical motors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous CNC experience required
- Will be required to pass the eligibility test provided by Snap-on
- Ability to read and interpret part diagrams
- Ability to use shop mathematics, work with fairly complicated drawings, and good troubleshooting ability
Competencies: Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.
