Description

Owns and manages assigned territory, driving profitable premium growth to achieve financial and operational goals. Manages broad agency partnerships, handles 200+ agency storefronts across multiple states, and optimizes territory performance. Creates, implements, and executes strategies using all company programs, tools, and resources while collaborating with internal partners. Primary outreach is conducted virtually via audio or video conferences, supplemented by email and digital media.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage assigned territory to drive profitable growth and achieve targets.
  2. Lead territory and agency management processes across multiple territories, including prospecting, business planning, engagement, training, and building agency partnerships virtually.
  3. Establish trust as a trusted advisor, delivering product and underwriting support, retention, and new business development to maximize agency revenue.
  4. Create and execute agency strategies based on analysis, insights, and marketplace expertise to meet premium, profit, and new business goals.
  5. Align plans with key Personal Lines strategies, including agency expansion, marketing, and new product rollout.
  6. Ensure quality of new business flow, appropriate book mix, and risk management within the territory.
  7. Provide clarity on appetite and target markets, addressing profit or quality concerns.
  8. Collaborate with internal partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and share industry intelligence.
  9. Partner effectively with Small Commercial Lines counterparts.
  10. Utilize programs and tools supporting the agency channel and management, including marketing, development, and analytics tools.
  11. Guide agency initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.

This position is remote for candidates in Pennsylvania or Maryland. Candidates in the Greater Cincinnati, OH area must commute to the regional office on Mondays.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience; minimum three years of insurance experience.
  • Knowledge of company services, products, marketing, and industry trends.
  • Experience in revenue growth and sales success.
  • Proven partnership development, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of insurance operations including claims, underwriting, and sales.
  • Effective communication skills, customer focus, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, business development, and time management skills.
  • Licensing as required by the state.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight stays.
