nAccount Manager - Marine/Nuclear
nAFC Industries, a leading distributor of industrial fasteners and assembly components, is looking for an experienced Sr. Account Manager to join their Askew Marine brand in support of the Naval Marine sector. This is a senior level inside sales position responsible for the management of some of our largest marine customers. The expectation is for the successful candidate to be able to make an immediate impact with very little training. Customer and vendor relationships in this market are a requirement.
nThe successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience specifying, buying, and selling products into the military marine market. Experience in military fasteners is a plus.
nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include growing the Askew Marine brand by servicing customers with the following responsibilities:

Work with customers to meet or exceed sales and profit goals.

Liaison between outside sales and rest of the organization, speaking the "voice of the customer".

Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery

Collaborate with supply chain and other internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers
n n - n
Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
n n - n
Receive inbound emails and phone calls from customers and provide accurate responses to issues and concerns
n n - n
Enter and maintain customer and vendor data in ERP and CRM systems
n n - n
Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

5 years military fastener sales (preferred)

High technical competency and knowledge of military specifications, specifically those related to fasteners and associated materials.

Working knowledge of fastener manufacturing and materials

High degree of business acumen

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail

MS Office Suite proficiency
