Our Intermediate Fleet Mechanics earn $28.86 an hour! Schedule: Sunday - Thursday - 10 PM until 6 AM or finish with potential O/T

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Fleet Road equipment including diesel tractors, trailers, and maintenance vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations.
  • Document maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (e.g., tractors, trailers, reefers).

What You Need to Bring:

Experience/Requirements:

  • 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic, or a combination with reefer mechanic experience; or 3 years with Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Personal hand tools required.
  • Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to the shop and fleet.
  • Read and understand technical and service manuals.
  • Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with team collaboration.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Compensation is competitive based on experience and skills, with the expected base rate between $26 and $31 per hour, and applicable overtime compensation.
