Responsibilities and Tasks

n

LINE OF SIGHT

Production Efficiency

n

• Ensure there are tools availability for WIP

n

• Investigation into qual failures and troubleshooting into multiple qual fails

n

• Ensure tools are logged properly (up or down & correct state)

n

• -Escalate long term issues to Equip team

n

• Identify inefficiencies for WIP throughput

n

• Train and provide buddy checks for aborted lots as needed

n

• Assist in investigating and releasing of chronic holds

n

COST

n

Area Budget:

n

• Insure bath is bad before dumping

n

• -Proper processing of tests with chemical baths

n

• -Suggest cost reductions ideas

n

• Insure tests are ran at the proper time during bath life

n

• Management of area TW and TW cost:

n

• buddy check germ releases/ reworks

n

• Monitor use of qual wafers for off scheduled testing

n

YIELD

n

SPC SCORE:

n

• Monitor SPC and tool charts

n

• Work with technicians to correct out of spec tools

n

• Ensure correct release of all GeRM holds and tool releases

n

• Proper disposition of lots

n

• Quickly react to and contain DTS notifications from RDA

n

• Number of Wafers in excursions/ Total Excursions:

n

• investigate inline issues/ marginal processes and escalate to equipment/process team when out of their ability

n

• react to OOC fails in a timely and efficient manner

n

• quickly react to and contain DTS notifications from RDA and FDC events.

n

• double check all GeRM releases from ECNs, tool releases

n

• Properly use RDA=YES lots to verify post maintenance work when appropriate

n

• PMON Fail Reduction:

n

• investigate pmon fails thoroughly and work with technicians to find solutions.

n

• identify sources of false fails and eliminate them. Utilize surface analysis at chemlab/ RDA to help identify source of fails.

n

• work with technicians and process owners to create BKMs for reacting to fails

n

• monitor inline RDA data for defects trends that may not be getting picked up by PMONs

n

DPML

n

• Lot Hold Time:

n

• - Monitor and release area holds in a timely manner

n

• - Assign resources to take care of lots on hold

n

• - Escalate or repair any broken SWRs in a timely manner

n

• - Pareto hold issues to determine if there is a larger issue.

n

• 60s NAND/DRAM Cycle time:

n

• - Aid in the qualing and running of SWRS to qualify additional tools.

n

• - Aid in identifing and correcting any germ related issues that arise.

n

SCRAP

n

• Follow disposition procedure and escalate ambiguity within procedures

n

• Verify all lots that were manually recovered from the tool

n

• Timely execution of aborted lots, ECAPs and holds.

n

• Processing SWR’s Per Spec

n

• Understand tools alarms prior to taking action

n

• Proper Post Maint Quals / Testing

n

• - Monitor FDC/MTSPC/DTS for issues.

n

• Buddy Check any Germ changes

n

• Verify ECNs prior to releasing Germ Holds

n
