Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

Location: Hybrid (Candidate must reside in the Little Rock, Arkansas area)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Employment Type: Part-Time (15–24 hours per week)
I. Position Summary.
The Arkansas Rural Health Partnership is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This part-time, hybrid position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and is skilled in managing executive-level administrative tasks with professionalism and discretion.
II. Key Responsibilities.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings, conference calls, and travel
- Coordinate and prepare materials for board meetings, partner calls, and special events
- Monitor and manage incoming email communications on behalf of the CEO, responding when appropriate and ensuring timely follow-up on priority items.
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and grant-related documents
- Track deadlines, deliverables, and priorities for ongoing projects and commitments
- Organize digital files and maintain internal records (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
- Provide virtual meeting support (e.g., Zoom logistics, agendas, notes, follow-ups)
- Support grant and partner reporting by compiling information and organizing documentation
- Assist with funder, partner, and stakeholder communications as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and serve as a trusted liaison for internal and external stakeholders
III. Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- High proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and cloud-based tools
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Experience supporting nonprofit leadership or working in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Commitment to ARHP’s mission and values, and understanding of rural health is a bonus
IV. Additional Details.
- Flexible scheduling available, though some availability during standard business hours is required
- Occasional in-person support may be requested for special events or meetings (with advance notice)
- This is a part-time, 1099 contract or W-2 position, depending on organizational needs and candidate preference
