Strategic Sourcing Specialist III - Procurement Administration/Indirect Goods and Services/Plastic Film
Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for the coordination and development of category plans, strategies, vision, process efficiency, strategic sourcing initiatives and a defined number of commodities. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will interact with key business stakeholders, including Business Teams, Finance, Manufacturing Facilities and Engineering, to clearly understand the objective and vision of the business and drive category specific strategies to support those business objectives. Will also be responsible to manage and coordinate the supplier relationship, regulatory document requirements and performance evaluation process for the responsible categories.
Job Duties:

• Participate in the development and execution of all sourcing-related functions: understanding business team requirements, identifying prospective suppliers, performing due-diligence and assessment of prospective suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective transition of operations during implementation
• Ensure contract and procurement compliance standards, policies and procedures are followed and maintained
• Lead sourcing initiatives that provide detailed commodity strategies that identify objectives, leveraged spend initiatives, and milestone timelines
• Analyze pricing proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of vendor pricing and capabilities
• Administer and maintain vendor contract files to ensure consistency and compliance to client requirements
• Support the Regulatory and Compliance group in obtaining all needed documentation
• Build transparency of spend and key risks related to vendors, reporting results and actionable opportunities
• Engage in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by leveraging business and industry intelligence, adopting and participating in the development of best practices, new tools, process re-engineering and other ideas that provide service delivery efficiencies
• Assist in developing a comprehensive annual sourcing plan for commodity services including strategy, cost savings and risk mitigation
• Be a subject matter expert for assigned categories and report on commodity market dynamics, spend analytics and Procurement metrics.
  

Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree; three to five plus years of prior experience in a similar Film Sourcing or Indirect Goods and Service sourcing role, focused on obtaining product knowledge, implementing programs and driving value, preferably in a manufacturing organization
• Effectively synthesize and communicate analyses in writing (presentations, memos)
• Must be willing and able to travel 10-25% of the time (domestic & international)
• Good business acumen and project management skills with a proven ability to understand business priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build very good working relationships with managers, coworkers, internal manufacturing business partners and customers
• Able to deal properly with sensitive and confidential information
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
