Hybrid work arrangement (Newark, NJ) preferred. Willing to consider fully remote for the right resource.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with sourcing process including acquisition of IT solutions, including but not limited to SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and traditional on-premise Software.
May also assist in the development of Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposal (RFPs)
Assist with the negotiation and execution of enterprise-wide purchasing programs for the Global Technology Business Unit
Manage and lead negotiation of contract terms for master agreements as well as engagement schedules
Lead pricing and volume discount negotiations
Handle both routine and complex paperwork inclusive of negotiating contracts related to purchasing new IT solutions
Qualifications:
Experience in IT Procurement, managing complex IT acquisitions, and negotiating IT contracts
Demonstrated capability in working in a multi-function team environment, including effective influence management
Familiarity with Technology Contracting terminology
Effective conflict management skills
Understanding of IT industry trends in contracting and supplier management practices
Strong sourcing skills and experience required
Analytical skills and understanding of MS Office tools
Strong communication and presentation skills necessary
Must be able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
Solid customer service orientation
Takes ownership of actions and demonstrates the ability to work independently
Takes responsibility for putting in time and effort needed to achieve work objectives
Demonstrates sense of urgency and a positive, "can-do " attitude
Surfaces potential problems for decision makers to keep projects on track
Ability to adjust work to accommodate needs of group processes
Ability to prioritize work
Ability to work autonomously and to make certain decisions on their own
Must be results-oriented and effective within collaborative, team environment
Helpful to have experience with the following systems: Conga, SpendHQ Beeline, ServiceNow, ZIP, Globality
