Position Overview: We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team and follow our core values of honesty, transparency, and doing the right thing. The AR Representative will be responsible for communicating with insurance adjusters to see what changes to our invoices the insurance requests, verifying payment amounts, seeing when payment was sent, etc. The AR Representative will also be reaching out to customers to collect payment for the construction work that was already done, following up whenever needed.
Key Responsibilities

• Using Google Sheets and QuickBooks to send and track invoices
• Responsible for reaching out to insurance adjusters and customers for payment status
• Answering incoming phone call
• Weekly team meetings
• Review and Update AR spreadsheet and file with all of the update information
• Receive payments into QuickBooks
• Issue Estimates and Invoices as requested
• Call Clients to collect payments
• Call Insurance Companies for updates on claims and to try and direct payment to Romexterra
• Send requests for additional info to the appropriate Project Manager
• Update the Administrative Manager regarding any inconsistencies or discrepancies
• Meet with the Administrative Manager to discuss collections
• Achieve Monthly and Quarterly Collection Target
• Work with Administrative Manager to refine the collections process
• Complete Training and Educational Modules as assigned by Administrative Manager and Owner
• Hybrid role with most days being in office in Addison, IL
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with insurance collections or insurance settlement
• 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably with emails and calls regarding collections
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a requirement (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or other invoicing software
• Familiarity with construction estimates is a plus, but not required
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through and complete tasks without supervision
• Strong numerical and mathematical skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
