THIS POSITION WILL BE FULLY REMOTE

Main Objective

Utilize analytical skills to provide technical assistance in federal, state, and international tax matters affecting Arthrex, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Collaborate with the Tax Department to ensure compliance with tax requirements in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze data using financial systems (SAP, TM1, Cognos) to prepare and reconcile tax workpapers.
  • Prepare quarterly estimate/extension calculations and coordinate payments.
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals and small entities.
  • Handle compliance tasks such as FBARs and 5500s.
  • Assist with the annual tax provision preparation.
  • Support data gathering for tax audits.
  • Review assets for tax classification, compute fixed asset adjustments, and run reports.
  • Stay updated on tax changes and industry trends.
  • Build relationships with finance, legal, treasury, and other departments to gather data and improve tax processes.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 1+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax preferred.
  • CPA certification or progress towards it preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws required.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws for various entities.
  • Experience in income tax compliance and software.
  • Understanding of multi-state returns and apportionment.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and work flexibly.
Tools & Equipment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with tax software like OneSource RS, Sage FAS, SAP, CCH is a plus.

Other Skills

Strong reasoning, mathematical, language, and communication skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
