We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Dentistry to lead our Pediatric Dentistry program at the Celeste Myers Dental Clinic. This role provides an opportunity to shape the future of pediatric dental care by overseeing clinical operations, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering innovation in education and research. The Director will develop interdisciplinary collaborations and improve patient outcomes through leadership, patient care, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Program Development: Lead the Pediatric Dentistry team in providing excellent dental care, expanding services, and maintaining high standards.
  2. Clinical & Administrative Management: Oversee comprehensive pediatric dental services, including preventive care, orthodontics, trauma management, and restorative dentistry.
  3. Practice & Financial Management: Ensure efficiency and financial sustainability while maintaining high-quality patient care.
  4. Strategic Planning & Growth: Develop and implement strategies to expand services and integrate interdisciplinary care models.
  5. Quality, Safety, Risk Management & Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with best practices and safety protocols, and promote continuous quality improvement.
  6. Education & Research: Mentor and educate dental trainees, residents, and staff, and contribute to academic initiatives and research through the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute.
  7. Collaboration & Relationship Management: Build partnerships with hospital leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders to enhance pediatric dentistry's impact.

Position Requirements

  • D.M.D. or D.D.S. from an ADA-accredited U.S. dental school
  • Board certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active dental license in Ohio
  • Minimum 5 years of pediatric dentistry experience with at least 1 year in leadership
  • A passion for clinical excellence, innovation, and mentoring future professionals
