Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities: accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, payroll.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements per GAAP or IFRS.
• Develop internal controls and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support accounting systems and process improvements.
• Train and evaluate accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, 2+ years in supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role is onsite in Uniontown, OH, with a salary of $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
