What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Record daily transactions into QuickBooks with speed and accuracy
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
- Reconcile and record intercompany transactions
- Review AR Aging and collections weekly
- Oversee accounts payable and vendor payment tracking
- Monitor and support inventory data integrity
- Ensure sales tax preparation and invoicing are completed on time
- Support the controller with month-end close and reporting
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date general ledger records
- Provide financial insights to support leadership decision-making
- Clean, timely, and accurate bookkeeping
- All accounts reconciled monthly without error
- On-time invoicing and sales tax reporting
- Financial statements supported and submitted on schedule
- Proactive communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Required)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations and reporting
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred but not required
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or inventory-heavy environments a plus
