Position Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to support our clients operations in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full-time, onsite role with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive title processing and general accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Title Processing:
- Prepare and submit title applications to the DMV for new and used vehicles.
- Verify ownership documents, lien releases, and odometer statements.
- Maintain accurate title records and resolve title discrepancies.
- Process vehicle registrations and ensure timely delivery of license plates.
- Communicate with customers, banks, and state agencies regarding title issues.
Accounting Duties:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and dealership accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payments.
- Support payroll processing as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- 12 years of experience in automotive title processing or accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
