About the Role

Are you a financial storyteller with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for precision? TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Senior Reporting & Financial Planning Analyst to join our high-performing Finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is pivotal in shaping the financial narrative of our U.S. trading operations across Gas, LNG, Power, and Dry commodities.

Youll be the go-to expert for forecasting, budgeting, IFRS reporting, and strategic financial analysisconnecting the dots between data and decision-making for senior leadership in Geneva, Paris, and across the U.S.

Activities

What Youll Do

  • Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting, including Flash results and Essbase submissions
  • Own IFRS reporting packages for TGPNA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with TotalEnergies SE and Holdings USA consolidation requirements
  • Drive budgeting and long-term planning processes, from template creation to executive-ready presentations
  • Provide technical accounting support and ensure alignment with IFRS and Group financial guidance
  • Analyze working capital and respond to ad hoc analytical requests from Group Finance
  • Champion finance process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls
  • Collaborate across departments and geographies, acting as a key financial liaison for TGPNA
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, planning, or analysis
  • Exposure to international accounting and reporting standards (IFRS preferred)
  • Experience in energy trading or capital-intensive industries is a plus
  • A dvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, formulas) and proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
