Magnolia Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced
Dispatcher
to join our team! The Dispatcher position is an entry-level position for our Residential Services department. This person will be responsible for scheduling and managing service calls for our hvac and plumbing technicians. This role involves coordinating information in real time, and ensuring safety during emergencies.
Daily Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch
plumbing and HVAC service calls efficiently and effectively. Monitor technician locations and job progress using
ServiceTitan
in real-time. Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, relay ETAs, and provide updates as needed. Adjust schedules dynamically to handle urgent requests , unexpected changes, delays, and cancellations. Ensure technicians are dispatched with the correct information, tools, and materials. Prioritize jobs based on urgency, location, and technician skill level. Support the service team by helping with work order entry, follow-up calls, and documentation. Review and close out completed jobs accurately in ServiceTitan. Collaborate with office staff and management to improve workflow and customer satisfaction. Check Emails consistently throughout the day Pull permits when required Follow up with calls in waiting / parts or pending return status every 3 days Issue Purchase orders Send over Daily Availability for evening and next day shift at the end of the business day Confirm Upcoming Calls (Next Day) Pairing technicians with apprentices for next day Requirements
Prior Dispatch Experience Industry experience (Plumbing or HVAC) preferred
