We're partnering with a highly respected mechanical construction company to find an
HR Coordinator
to provide vital support across onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage new hire onboarding and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems (UKG, Spectrum, Smartsheet) Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide plan guidance Support legal and compliance processes by gathering required documentation Coordinate HR-related invoices and ensure timely processing Compile HR data for reports on headcount, turnover, and compliance Provide administrative support across corporate, safety, service, and field operations Coordinate performance review scheduling and feedback collection Assist during high-volume HR periods such as open enrollment and onboarding Act as a resource for employee questions and policy clarification Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain strict confidentiality Qualifications:
Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1-4 years of HR administrative experience Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other employment regulations Proficient in HRIS systems (UKG, Spectrum) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to travel between Raleigh and Charlotte (5-10%) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
