Senior Operations Manager
Be the engine that keeps our apparel supply chain moving and our customers smiling. Centric Brands is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven Senior Operations Manager to play a key role in powering our fulfillment, logistics, and compliance functions. This role offers the opportunity to work at the center of a fast-paced apparel business, partnering with cross-functional teams to keep goods moving, reduce risk, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. You will take ownership of critical daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, set inbound container priorities, and proactively solve production and shipping challenges before they impact delivery timelines. You'll also lead the charge in managing and resolving chargebacks, ensuring data integrity across ERP and customer systems, and driving alignment between Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Production. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, has a proven track record in the apparel industry, and brings expertise in chargeback processes, ERP systems (SAP a plus), and data-driven decision-making. This is a role where your analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to influence priorities will have a direct impact on the business's success. Daily Reporting Generate daily shipping and on-pick reports to monitor fulfillment activity. Maintain and update LE (Latest Estimate) information on a monthly basis. Weekly Reporting Provide ATS (Available to Sell) reports to the sales team to support inventory visibility. Share detailed inbound container reports with the warehouse team to plan receiving activity. Inbound Operations Set and communicate container priorities based on urgency and sales needs. Partner with the logistics team to investigate inbound variances and alert sales of any issues impacting delivery timelines. POE (Port of Entry) Shipping Track and review monthly POE container movements. Collaborate with the Greensboro team and sales on shipping schedules and priorities. Shipment Tracking Review weekly ship tracking reports to flag production or delivery concerns. Communicate any production-related issues to Sales and the Operations leadership team. Review in-month shipping progress and proactively address any delays or gaps. Lead the month-ahead review call with cross-functional teams. Partner with Sales to resolve any upcoming fulfillment or inventory risks for the following month. Drive alignment on priorities to ensure readiness for upcoming shipments Chargeback Management Download and review weekly chargebacks for top three customers. Assign internal ownership for resolution, follow up on disputes with the chargeback team. Coordinate with Production to gather support for disputes and recover applicable charges from vendors. Call out and address new chargebacks weekly to ensure timely resolution. Production Coordination Address inventory overages and shortages with the Production team. Notify Sales of any item-level discrepancies and update sales orders in partnership with OMG to reflect accurate WIP (Work In Progress). Catalog Management Audit and correct GXS catalog errors to ensure clean data for customer systems. Sales Support Serve as point of contact for all shipping-related inquiries from Sales. Supply/Demand Flow Build the monthly supply/demand flow Weekly DC shipping flow Seasonal Buy Oversight Monitor oversold and ATS positions for seasonal buys. Our best fit candidate would have: 5+ years of experience with a strong knowledge in supply chain operations. Proficient in excel. Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Familiarity with ERP systems, chargeback platforms and customer portals. Previous experience utilizing SAP is preferred. Experience developing and implementing chargeback policies and procedures. Apparel industry experience is required Effective communication and negotiation skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
