Human Resources Coordinator
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for our Tampa, Florida office. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the day-to-day operation of HR services including being responsible and ensuring consistency of HR programs. As a member of the company's Human Resources team, the HR Coordinator will provide support and services to the more senior team members to help support the divisional goals which will impact the overall company's goals. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities: Support the Recruitment team with: scheduling and conducting interviews, conducting phone pre-screens, writing and posting job descriptions, conducting reference checks, coordinating job offers, social media branding, attending local recruitment events Provides administration for Human Resource programs including, drafting letters/offers/contracts, compiling reports and processing changes to Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and files. Update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems for current and future opportunities Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of HR programs, policies, procedures, and communications. Responsible for conducting company and benefits orientations. Researches on varying levels for HR best practices and projects. Maintains personnel files, including creating files for new employees. Examines personnel files to answer inquiries and provide the information to authorized persons. Processes employment, payroll, and benefit enrolment change notices and/or initial forms. Creates and maintains automated reports. Performs administrative support and technical assistance in the delivery of Human Resources services to employees and managers. Assists more experienced human resources staff members in solving human resources problems. Qualifications: University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources; with 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources. Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio; HRIS experience an asset Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment. Additional Information A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
