Therapist Position at Roxbury Treatment Center

Roxbury is currently hiring a full-time therapist to work with our patients on our acute psychiatric units. This position offers you the opportunity to work with both adults and adolescents. The hours are Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. This position qualifies for a $2,500 sign-on bonus! Job Duties and Responsibilities: The therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center. The therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital. Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 41 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications: Master's degree in social work, clinical/counseling psychology or related social services field required. Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting. Licensure is not required, but preferred. Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
