Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in AR processes and accounting systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Accurately apply daily cash payments to customer accounts. Submit invoices and payment requests through various client portals. Match supporting documents to invoices and ensure timely submission to clients. Assist with collections efforts when time permits. Perform dual entry tasks, including check deposits, billing support, and invoice summaries. Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable mailbox to address inquiries and maintain organization. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transitions between accounting platforms. Receive training on relevant software tools, including QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite, to enhance operational efficiency. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. Requirements: Proven experience in Accounts Receivable processes, including cash applications and collections. Proficiency with accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite. Strong familiarity with ERP systems and general accounting functions. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for accurate data analysis and reporting. Ability to work 100% onsite in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.
