Content Manager
Join the high-performing, collaborative Steamboat Marketing team to shape our brand story across every touchpoint. The Content Manager leads the production and execution of compelling contentfrom cinematic brand campaigns to short-form social storytelling. You're a key guide in our creative direction and branding relationships, and you'll manage photo/video shoot logistics, asset workflows, and a content creator stable. This role requires expertise in social media management, content storytelling, and strategy deployment, with an emphasis on brand-aligned execution across organic and paid platforms. Creative chops and project management experience are critical skills for this role's success. This role will have one direct report, our Social Media Coordinator, to deliver our brand to our audiences. An attached pdf or word document of your resume and cover letter is required. Key Responsibilities
Translate strategic marketing goals into actionable content plans that span digital, print, and in-resort owned channels. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to bring campaign concepts to life through multimedia storytelling. Guide tiered-levels of content creators to produce a range of assets, including cinematic brand work, product-focused visuals, and engaging content for marketing channels. Plan and execute photography and video shootsincluding logistics, creative briefs, location planning, talent management, feedback loops, and post-production delivery. Manage advanced terrain ski & snowboard action asset capture and develop opportunities to collect on-mountain and lifestyle content year-round. Recruit, manage, and engage contracted content creators, freelancers, and influencers across Steamboat's content portfolio. Maintain asset management systems (Sitecore ContentHub, OneDrive, Dropbox) and ensure clear workflows from ideation to publication. Leverage digital platforms (ClickUp, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite) to manage internal workflows, create action plans, and track effectiveness. Collaborate with analytics team to evaluate performance and adjust strategies based on insights. (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) Oversee, guide, and develop the Social Media Coordinator in developing and executing our social plans. Orchestrate organic and paid social media strategies in alignment with brand campaigns, and business performance tactics. Guide short-form content storytelling, ensuring brand voice and tone are consistently represented. Support aligned execution of influencer marketing and social content deliverables across platforms. Provide creative feedback that upholds Steamboat's identity, tone, and design standards. Partner with brand manager, agency partners and in-house teams to elevate the resort's visual storytelling and evolve campaign development. Ensure that all content supports the goals of Steamboat's brand, seasonal priorities, and strategic direction Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned Preferred Skills

of experience in photo, video, and content creationpreferably in the resort, hospitality, travel, or outdoor recreation industries. Demonstrated success producing content campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms. Prior experience managing branded video and photography production, including agency and freelance relationships. Proven ability to translate marketing objectives into effective and inspirational content. Skilled in asset capture, particularly advanced terrain skiing/snowboarding. Highly organized with strong relational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving project fronts simultaneously. Proficiency in Sitecore ContentHub, Adobe Creative Suite, ClickUp, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Microsoft Suite. Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability is required; advanced preferred. 2 years of previous work history/education required Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Be a consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standards Education Requirements

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives. This is a salaried exempt position and is not subject to overtime pay. Steamboat Springs area base salary pay range: $65,000 - $80,000 Physical Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age Lift and carry up to 30lbs. including backpacks with computer equipment and tools Intermediate skiing or riding ability required; advanced preferred. Ability to sit for extended periods of time Operate computer for long periods of time The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
