Chevron is seeking a highly skilled communications professional to join our team as the Labor Relations and Litigation Communications Advisor. This role is vital to safeguarding the company's reputation and ensuring effective communication during complex labor relations and litigation issues. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for both internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate will possess superb written and verbal communication abilities, exceptional relationship building skills, and a deep understanding of the complexities of the legal and regulatory landscape. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for ongoing and potential litigation cases and high-profile issues, including labor relations matters. Project Management: Deliver plans, track performance, and conduct lookbacks for continuous improvement. Crisis Management: Manage communication during high-stakes litigation scenarios, mitigating reputational risk and maintaining public trust. Policy Interpretation: Interpret and explain labor agreements, company policies, and relevant labor laws to employees and management. Content Creation: Draft press releases, statements, Q&A documents, talking points, and other communication materials tailored to various audiences. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including legal teams, human resources, journalists, and industry experts. Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage, public sentiment, and industry trends related to litigation and labor relations, providing regular reports to senior management. Compliance: Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and comply with legal guidelines and regulatory requirements. Additional Responsibilities

Facilitate Discussions: Serve as a liaison between management and employees, facilitating open and constructive dialogue to address labor-related issues. Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving labor disputes and conflicts by providing communication support and mediation services. Media Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries related to litigation, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Law, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a legal, human resources, or corporate environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Documentable experience in conflict resolution and negotiation. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Demonstrated ability to create engaging content, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Demonstrated understanding of current communication trends, strategies, tools, and platforms. Proven ability to build and leverage relationships and partnerships to advance and support labor relations and legal priorities. Deep understanding of labor laws and regulations as well as legal terminology and processes with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into accessible language. Attributes
