Welders Needed in Ashland City, TN 2nd Shift $21.30/hr!
The Welder position involves flux core and stick welding, reading blueprints, and measuring materials accurately. You will be on your feet for the entire shift and moving throughout the plant as necessary. Must be comfortable in tight spaces and an indoor/outdoor environment. Responsibilities
Lay out materials and prepare them for welding. Read blueprints and measure materials accurately. Remain on feet and move throughout the plant as needed. Essential Skills
Proficiency in Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in fabrication and fitting. Skill in working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous welding experience of 3-6 months. Ability to pass a weld test during the interview (positions 1-5F). Completion of a two-week on-site weld school before working on the floor. Work Environment
The work is conducted outdoors, and conditions can be very hot. Employees are required to wear steel-toed, ankle-high leather boots, and long sleeves and pants due to safety considerations. The second shift runs from Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm to 12:45 am. Contacts are not allowed due to smoke from welding. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
