HR Works is excited to support our client in their search for a hands-on, highly collaborative HR Manager to lead core HR functions and help shape a thriving workplace culture. This role offers the opportunity to influence every stage of the employee lifecycle - from attracting top talent to supporting leadership development and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The HR Manager will work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to deliver an exceptional employee experience, provide practical guidance to managers, and help build a world-class HR function. The ideal candidate will balance tactical execution with strategic planning, thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and bring a proactive mindset to improving processes, strengthening culture, and supporting leadership growth. Essential Functions Manage full-cycle recruitment from posting to offer. Partner with hiring managers to align sourcing strategies. Lead onboarding to ensure a smooth and engaging start. Employee Relations & Performance Management Support managers with performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Conduct investigations and consult on complex employee matters. Oversee offboarding, including exit interviews and documentation. Training & Development Deliver compliance and safety training for all employees. Implement programs to build leadership and career growth. Compensation, Benefits & Leave Administration Review pay practices and advise on compensation decisions. Administer benefits, open enrollment, and ACA compliance. Manage leave programs and ADA accommodations. HR Operations & Process Improvement Maintain compliant HR policies and reporting. Respond to legal requests and represent company in hearings. Track HR metrics and analyze data to support strategy. Qualifications 8 - 10 years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Proven ability to coach and advise managers at all levels Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred Experience with HR systems such as Paylocity and Employee Navigator is a plus Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 annually HR Works, Inc. is committed to equal opportunity for all, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.
