The Stock Clerk performs a variety of duties involved in the ordering, receiving, handling, marking, preparing, and issuing stock. The Stock Clerk will work in one or more departments within the CIIP (e.g., issue line, warehouse, offices, etc.), or performs rotational assignment within all departments. Major Responsibilities

Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice. Utilizes knowledge of inventory databases to conduct location surveys, add/delete locations, process physical inventories and correct recorded balances. Verifies the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifest, storage receipts, or other records. Examines materials to verify if that was delivered was the type specified and checks for damaged goods. Stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments. May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock and may cut stock to site to fill orders. Able to react to change productively and handle additional tasks as assigned. Performs a variety of tasks to assist in the CIIP clothing/footwear operations such as measuring, fitting, and issuing boots, shoes, and clothing to authorized service members. Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements. Ensures that all safety precautions are adhered to at all times. Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives. Working Environment: A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days per week) must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires. Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Physical Requirements: Must be able to operate in a warehouse and outdoor type environment. Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites and withstand prolonged periods of standing for 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties. Work requires continuous walking, standing and sitting. Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling loads up to 50 pounds. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as protective mask, safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas. Stock Clerk will be required to operate a forklift or other related material handling equipment. Operates a GSA vehicle as required in, on, and around the local area. General office equipment, computers, fax, printers, web and internet services. Qualifications

MINAMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have or able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Valid Driver's License without restrictions or valid State issued Identification. Must be able to pass the standard background check. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. NAC-I clearance required. Experience/Skills: Two (2) years or more supply chain or logistical operations Working knowledge and operational experience with CIF-ISM or Army STAMIS preferred. Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism. Must have a general familiarity with computer elements to perform functional activities such as data entry, data verification, transaction preparation. Ability to understand SOPs, Work Instructions, Army Regulations, Technical Manuals and applicable Department of Defense forms. Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels. Capacity to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels. Customer service skills. Ability to work with a team. Proficient in counting and recording numbers as needed for documentation.
