Maintenance Technician
Perform regular maintenance related duties along with general maintenance and repairs such as light bulb changes, minor plumbing, equipment maintenance, light construction, grounds keeping and housekeeping to all Health Center locations. Provide mechanical preventative maintenance on health center systems and equipment such as belt and filter changes. Assist Lead Mechanic and other mechanics on projects which would require assistance. Will remain on call twenty-four hours/day for any problems occurring during off-hours, on a rotated, bi-weekly basis. All mechanics will remain on call for emergencies. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 08:30am - 04:30 PM. 36.25 hours weekly. Qualifications: Technical training and/or at least three year's experience as a maintenance person. Basic knowledge of plumbing, H.V.A.C., carpentry, electricity and repairing equipment. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently.
