The individual in this position will play a critical role in driving initiatives for Strategic Sourcing that are aligned to Kohler's Sustainable Living strategy. The success of this role is an essential tenet ensuring suppliers conduct business in a manner that aligns with Kohler's Supplier Code of Conduct and Supplier Sustainability Policy. Driven by purpose, you leverage relationships, business acumen, and the ability to identify potential solutions to deliver results. Managing projects that focus on a vision of sustainable procurement practices for the betterment of our communities, you thrive on a challenge to unlock potential from new partnerships both internally and with supplier development. You will need to be diplomatically tenacious in your continuous pursuit of impact. Leverage the vision of Kohler's Sustainable Living strategy to drive commitment from business leaders and community advocates for sustainable procurement practices. You will also influence buyers and business clients to share in the mission. What You'll Do

Work with the Sr. Program Manager-Sustainable Procurement execute program components to reach reduction goals Engage with internal business leaders and stakeholders to develop project plans and solicit appropriate resources to execute key initiatives. Partner with strategic sourcing category leaders and suppliers to deploy sustainable sourcing practices to identify more sustainable options and track improvements. Identify and manage supplier sustainability projects to drive carbon reductions in Kohler's supply chain. Maintain and improve carbon tracking process for procurement events to monitor reductions. Ensure carbon measurement and reduction tracking is aligned with standard practices such as the GHG protocol. Identify, deploy, and manage technology and external supplier partnerships needed for the success of sustainable procurement programs. Work with Sr. Program Manager-Sustainable Procurement and Sustainable Living team to respond to stakeholder and customer inquiries, certification/compliance tracking, supplier surveys, audits, and supplier development planning. Maintain and improve the addition of sustainability expectations to Kohler's sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance evaluation processes. Support Sr. Program Manager-Sustainable Procurement with compliance requests that overlap with sustainable procurement. Maintain, monitor, measure, and report on reduction progress to stakeholders both internally and externally. Create communications both internally and externally to facilitate a community of best practice sharing and improvement. Stay up to date on changes to sustainability regulations and best practices. Other duties as assigned. Skills/Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, sustainable business, engineering, environmental science, or similar program. Experience: At least 2+ years of previous experience in procurement or sustainability related role (will consider co-op or internship experience) Preferred Attributes: Passion for integrating sustainability into current or new business processes to benefit all stakeholders Procurement acumen

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
